First Alumni Rep Event & Launching My Marketing Agency

In October 2022, just months after graduating, I was honoured to be invited as an alumni representative at the DEM Association’s first event of the academic year. Speaking to over 100 students about how my undergraduate experience prepared me for post-grad life was truly rewarding.

It was inspiring to see so many students eager to learn, ask questions, and find motivation to pursue their own paths. Giving back to the community that shaped me is always fulfilling!

This event also marked a personal milestone — my very first public announcement about launching my marketing agency just a month prior. Despite the nerves and a trembling voice, that moment felt like a powerful step forward in owning my journey.

Too often, #ImpostorSyndrome holds us back, but celebrating our wins and milestones is essential.
